At OUCCAS, we’re experts in coordinating complex large-scale programs. We understand the importance of building and maintaining trust with program partners and key stakeholders.
We have years of experience structuring project teams that work efficiently and flexibly to ensure projects are finished on time and reflect the best available evidence.
As program coordinators, OUCCAS staff have experience managing communication through websites and social media and appreciate the importance of connecting all of the work to the vision, mission, and values of the program.
Trainer, Coach, and Producer Development
We believe in recruiting seasoned content experts from the field and developing them into skilled trainers and coaches, rather than attempting to turn professional trainers and coaches into content experts. This approach ensures that the complex real-world questions and issues raised in learning and coaching are met with meaningful feedback and strategies from someone with years of lived experience doing the work involved.
We develop our content experts’ training and coaching skills by providing courses on curriculum development, presentation and facilitation, challenging behaviors and conversations, DEI integration, and skill transfer.
We believe skilled producers are an essential part of effective virtual classroom training. We develop our producers’ skills in working with virtual classroom technologies, providing technical support, and monitoring attendance and engagement.
Instructional Design
While all OUCCAS staff maintain currency in learning science, our talented instructional designers work in collaboration with subject-matter experts to design and develop highly effective and engaging self-directed, instructor-led, and blended-delivery learning products.
We believe learning is a process, not an event. We develop learning campaigns pairing classroom learning with simulations, learning labs, guided application and practice sessions, and formal and informal coaching opportunities.
We believe virtual classroom training should be as or more effective than physical classroom training. To accomplish that, we provide our trainers with specialized training on virtual content delivery and engagement strategies.
Program Evaluation and Analytics
Continuous quality improvement is built into all our work, whether in response to evaluation studies or sharing training metrics and session evaluation results with our partners.
OUCCAS embraces the Plan-Do-Study-Act model to test initiatives’ impact by continuously learning from experiences and improving approaches. Our CQI team completes environmental scans before new learning projects are designed, and they develop and implement research strategies to gather data that informs improvements.
Organizational Development
OUCCAS staff have extensive experience developing and managing organizations, with specific skills in planning, management, strategic change, and personnel development.
We believe organization development is an evidence-based process that can help organizations build their capacity to manage change and improve structures and processes for better outcomes.
