Kaitlin Hartzell brings more than 15 years of experience in children’s services to her role as a Content Specialist in the Family Protection Services division at OUCCAS. She began her career in 2010 with the Delaware County Department of Job and Family Services, working in intake, screening, investigations, and ongoing case management. Kaitlin later joined the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, where she served as an Ohio SACWIS Business Analyst and a Technical Assistance Specialist supporting Northwest Ohio. In these roles, she worked to advance statewide practice by advocating for intake and screening reforms, improving state case review processes, and contributing to Ohio’s federal Children and Family Services Review. Most recently, Kaitlin served as the Children’s Services Operational Support Section Chief at the Ohio Department of Children and Youth. There, she led a team of business analysts overseeing multiple statewide systems within Ohio’s Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS). Kaitlin earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Sociology from Cleveland State University, graduating magna cum laude and as a member of the Alpha Kappa Delta International Honor Society of Sociology.
