Sally Fitch

Co-Director – Leadership

Sally Fitch’s career in training and direct service started in 1977. She was Assistant Director of Education and Training for Planned Parenthood in Cincinnati; Program Director for the National Assault Prevention Center, developing and implementing primary prevention training curricula nationwide and internationally; consultant to a federal VOCA grant – Linking Systems of Care for Ohio’s Youth overseeing strategic planning and training initiatives; and Adjunct Professor at OSU for the School of Social Work. Sally received her Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University.

She has worked for the Ohio Child Welfare Training Program (OCWTP) since 1999, first as Assistant Director at the Institute for Human Services, where she spearheaded several innovative initiatives such as OCWTP’s coaching program, OCWTP’s first forays into distance learning and self-directed modules, the Skill-Building Certificate Program for caseworkers and supervisors, OCWTP’s first learning labs for caseworker core, pre-training readiness activities for caseworker and supervisor core modules, transfer-of -learning activities for Assessors, and the concept for Supervisor Round Tables. Currently, as Co-Director of OUCCAS, she continues to write content for human trafficking, sexual abuse, domestic violence, sexual development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
