Anna Stormer

Specialist – Implementation

Since 2017, Anna has served the Ohio Child Welfare Training Program by researching, writing, and developing training with a primary area of focus on sexual abuse, juvenile justice courts, and caseworkers. Anna has authored and contributed to multiple standardized curricula, manages multiple projects, collaborates with stakeholders, and continuously improves products through rigorous data analysis and feedback.

Anna received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Miami University and began serving children and families in 2008 as an ongoing caseworker in Hamilton County. She then spent 3 years providing mental health support in a juvenile detention center, before receiving a Master of Social Work from the #1 ranked social work program in the country, the University of Michigan, where she was accepted into a prestigious scholarship program to study child protection, and she founded the Child Welfare Student Association. Anna is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration from the University of Akron and expects to graduate in August 2026.  

After receiving her MSW, Anna served in a variety of additional roles, including providing therapy to children and families who experienced trauma, facilitating therapeutic foster care case management services, providing clinical insight and training in mental health and trauma to Guardians ad Litems, and conducting mental health assessments for children in foster care.
